3
3(x-4) +x = 2(6+2x) ;
3x -12+x = 12+4x ;
4x-12 = 12+4x ;
4x-4x = 12 + 12
x = 0

So the value of x = 0

3(x-4)+x=2(6+2x)
3x-12+x=12+4x
4x-12=4x+12
4x-4x=12+12
0=24
But we all know that 0 is not equal to 24,
therefore, there is no answer for the equation.

yeswey, it was added because it received three good ratings. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of control over that at the time.

Okay that is to say, it has been added into the database automatically. It's bad that wrong answers could be added into the database. What we need to do is to carefully check our answers to every question. Thanks.
