The statement is false. x^0 is always equal to 1. If the exponent is 0, then you get 1.

(6x^2 – 25x – 10) ÷ (3x + 2)

= (6x^2/3x + 2) + (-25x/3x + 2) + (-10/3x + 2)

= 2x - 29/3 R. 28/3

= (6x^2/3x + 2) + (-25x/3x + 2) + (-10/3x + 2)

= 2x - 29/3 R. 28/3

4x^6(-10x^5 + 4)

= (4x^6)(-10x^5) + (4x^6)(4)

= 16x^6 - 40x^11

= (4x^6)(-10x^5) + (4x^6)(4)

= 16x^6 - 40x^11

1 Answer/Comment

x^2 + 3x - 28 = 0;

(x + 7)(x - 4) = 0;

x + 7 = 0; x = -7;

x - 4 = 0; x = 4

x = {-7, 4}

(x + 7)(x - 4) = 0;

x + 7 = 0; x = -7;

x - 4 = 0; x = 4

x = {-7, 4}
