The statement is false. x^0 is always equal to 1. If the exponent is 0, then you get 1.

(x + 7)(x - 4) = 0;
x + 7 = 0; x = -7;
x - 4 = 0; x = 4

= 5 + 4 x 3 ÷ (3)
