The greatest common factor, or GCF, is the greatest factor that divides two numbers.

GCF is Greatest Common Factor among the given numbers. If we have three numbers 20,40 and 100 the GCF will be the greatest factor which can divide all the three numbers. Here in this example 20 can divide all the three numbers and it is also the greatest factor, so the GCF of these three number is 20.
