4x^2 + 2x – 6 = 0
(4x + 6)(x - 1) = 0
4x + 6 = 0
x = -6/4
x = -3/2
x - 1 = 0
x = 1
The solution for 4^2 + 2x - 6 = 0 is x = -3/2 , x = 1 .
