2x + y = 4

x + y = 3

the first equation subtract the second equation the result is:

x = 1

y = 3 - x = 3 - 1 = 2

The solution for 2x + y = 4 x + y = 3 is (1,2).

x + y = 3

the first equation subtract the second equation the result is:

x = 1

y = 3 - x = 3 - 1 = 2

The solution for 2x + y = 4 x + y = 3 is (1,2).
