User: The slope of the line whose equation is 3x - 2y = 4 is A.2/3 B.3/2 C.-2

Weegy: The answer is B=3/2. To find the slope of this line, first rearrange the equation to slope intercept form which is y=mx+b where m is the slope. [ After rearranging it, we get 2y=3x- 4.......divide by 2 to get y by itself......which in turn leaves us with y=1.5x- 2........therefore the slope is 1.5, or 3/2. ]

The slope of the line whose equation is 3x - 2y = 4 is 3/2
3x - 2y = 4
(-2y = -3x + 4)/(-2)
y = 3/2x - 2

where b is the constant. (-1, 0) m = -2

y = mx + b
0 = (-2)(–1) + b
0 = 2 + b
-b = 2
b = -2

the equation of the line is
y = -2x - 2
