4(x - 3) - 2(x - 1) > 0

(4x - 12) - (2x + 2) > 0

2x - 10 > 0

2x > 0 + 10

2x > 10

x > 10/2

x > 5

The solution for 5x - 4y = 7, x = 5 - y is x = 3, y =2 ,which is not in the options .
Put x = 5 - y in 1th equation
5x -4y = 7
5( 5 - y) - 4y = 7
25 - 9y = 7
-9y = -18
y = 2

x = 5 - y
x = 5-2
x = 3

y = x + 1, the first equation
2y - x = 6, the second equation
Replace y in the second equation with the first one we get:
2(x + 1) - x = 6
solve the equation we get x = 4
so, y = 4 + 1 = 5
The system y = x +1, 2y - x = 6 has one solution (4, 5)
