Weegy: Point-Slope form We know that y-y1=m(x-x1) so now we just plug in and simplify(not solve). y - 0 = -5/6(x- 2) y = -5/6(x+2) y = -5/6x-5/3 and now we just need to get into standard form. y = -5/6x-5/3 6y = -5x - 10 5x + 6y = -10 -(5x+6y) = [ 10 -5x-6y = 10 ]

The slope of the line passing through the points (7, 0) and (0, 10) is -10/7

Slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1);

= (10 - 0)/(0 - 7);

= -10/7

The equation 4x - 10y = 11 in slope intercept form is y = 2/5x - 11/10.
4x - 10y = 11
-10y = -4x + 11
y = (-4/-10)x + (11/-10)
y = (2/5)x - 11/10
