Volume of cylinder=(3.14)(5)^2(20)= 1570 cu.in.

Volume of a cylinder = pi x (radius squared) x height

Volume of a cylinder with a diameter of 10 inches (and therefore a radius of 10/2 = 5 inches) and a height of 20 inches is:

pi x (5 squared) x 20 cubic inches

= 3.14 x 25 x 20 cubic inches

= 1,570 cubic inches.
