It is estimated that, about one fifth or 1.1 billion people of the world's population live in poverty. [ About one billion people do not have access to safe drinking water and around two billion people do not have access to proper sanitation facilities(1). Other findings of various aspects of poverty show that 800 million people cannot afford to meet their normal life style, that is at least three meals a day, so they experience hunger each day, when 150 million children under five suffer from malnutrition. It is also estimated that across the globe 900 million adults are unable to read and write thus minimizing the possibility of employment opportunities. ............ ]
