Hi Jeifunk- Your answer is incorrect. If you look at the equation that was entered into wolframalpha, is was entered incorrectly. Please see below for correct answer.

Hi Jerry06- Your answer is correct, but 6.24 x 10^6 can be simplified to 6,240,000. So the correct answer is (5.2 x 10^2) x (1.2 x 10^4) = 6.24 x 10^6 = 6,240,000

Kaysha, technically, jerry06 did not simplify the answer. The user might be confused as they might not be aware of how to simplify 6.24 x 10^6. So by following jerr06's answer, they could be marked as incorrect.

And regarding that conversation, there were no exponents in the question so I simplified the answer based on the question that the user sent me. I also ask for clarification.

@andrew- I agree. The answer is not simplified. I just didn't know if it should be considered incorrect since it is the answer, just not the answer in simplest form.

In regards to the other conversation, the user did not indicate the exponents so I think either answer is okay.

Hi, Kaysha. Is flagging necessary here or can I just delete my answer and retain the simplified one? Thanks.
