8x^2 – 80x = –24
divided by 8 on both sides the result is:
x^2 - 10x = -3
x^2 - 10x + 25 = -3 + 25
(x - 5)^2 = 22
x - 5 = ± sqrt 22
x = 5 ± sqrt 22
