In the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizens the following are considered to be natural rights; right to property, freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Aside from being an important document in the history of French Revolution this document is also vital in the creation of universal human rights. The content of the Declaration reflects the aspirations of the large population of France and with the ideas of enlightened philosophers who inspired people that they must fight for equality, liberty and fraternity.
