Weegy: Two lines (in the same plane) have the same slope if and only if they're parallel. Somebody said "perpendicular", which is incorrect. Perpendicular lines have slopes that are negative reciprocals of each other.

The slope of the line that pass through points of (2,-1) and (6,3) is 1.
Slope={3-(-1)}/6-2=4/4=1.
