9x + y = 2

–4x – y = –17

adding up equations the result is:

5x = -15

x = -3

9(-3) + y = 2

y = 2 + 27 = 29

The solution for the system 9x + y = 2 –4x – y = –17 is (-3, 29)

–4x – y = –17

adding up equations the result is:

5x = -15

x = -3

9(-3) + y = 2

y = 2 + 27 = 29

The solution for the system 9x + y = 2 –4x – y = –17 is (-3, 29)
