A remote-controlled car travels at a uniform speed of 3.5 m/s and reaches its destination in 5 minutes. 1050 meter the remote-controlled car travel. Speed = Distance/time , 5 min = 5*60 sec. 3.5 = distance /5 *60 , distance = 3.5*5*60 = 1050 meter.

A body moving with a velocity of 20 m/s begins to accelerate at 3 m/s2. the body moves 137.5 meters in 5 seconds.
Solution:
s = ut + 1/2 at^2; s = 20 m/s (5 sec) + (1/2) (3 m/s^2) (5 sec)^2
s =100 m + (1.5 m/s^2) (25 s^2)
s = 100 m + 37.5 m
s = 137.5 meters.
