The slope of the line through the points (0, 0) and (2, 6) is 3.

Slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1);

= (6 - 0)/(2 - 0);

= 6/2;

= 3

@andrewpallarca, Perhaps you may have followed that I remain active in Weegy almost every day. Here, I was just waiting for Yesway's response. I have flagged that answer as it was incorrect. Could not I delete that answer? If an experts answer is incorrect, it should be flagged as incorrect. If an answer is filled with inappropriate words or profanity, it should be always deleted.

Also, as per your deletion, Weegy Admin cannot see the incorrect answer flagged by me. It has no evidence. I do not interfere anyone's flagging or given warning if he/she remains active on Weegy on regular basis. Thank you.

Sujaysen, you are not getting yeswey's point. If you can see on her first answer, there was a missing symbol, so she tried to delete it.

As you can see, she deleted the answer while you were flagging it, probably because you are both not aware.

And then, yeswey added the correct answer:
The slope for the equation -1/2x - y = 3/4 is -1/2.

It's clear that she added her correction before yours, which means that she was trying to fix the error.

We can fix typos on archives by deleting it and adding a new answer. Yeswey is probably the best expert when it comes to math and I have confirmed most of her answers with 99% accuracy, of course she is not perfect, but based on the actions she took, it's very clear that she was trying to fix it.

Weegy Admin has allowed us to fix errors in the archives by deleting it. Flagging it will affect the expert's account.

If yeswey didn't do anything about the missing symbol, then I would agree that her answer should be flagged, but then the registered time can prove that she was trying to fix it.

@andrew, I know, I understand that @yeswey is obviously a good expert in maths. Anyway, let us leave it here. Let us work together without hampering our valuable time.

Thank you andrew for your concern on this question.
I pointed it out just because i deleted it earlier than the flag, it might also a system issue.
