A room has an area of 121 ft2 but carpeting is only sold in m2. 11.24 m² of carpeting is needed to carpet the room.

Solution:
1 ft² = 0.09290304 m²
121 ft² = 0.09290304 × 121 m²
= 11.24 m².

A room has an area of 121 ft sq. but carpeting is only sold in mt. sq. 1 sq. mt = 10.7639 ft.sq. , 1 ft sq= 0.0929 , 121 ft sq. = 0.0929 *121 =11.24 mt sq. 11.24 sq. mt carpeting is needed to carpet the room.
