The way in which Quran (Islam) is similar to holy books of other religions (Christianity-(Jewish Bible + New Testament) and Judaism-(Bible)) is that their type of theism is monotheism, they believe in one God and they believe in the existence of other spiritual beings like angels and demons.

The central teaching of Islam is that there is only one all powerful, all knowing God(Allah) and this God(Allah) created the whole universe and Muhammad (PBUH) is the Last Prophet of God(Allah).
