The hypotenuse of each isosceles right triangle when the legs are 6 sqrt 2 is sqrt [(6 sqrt 2)^2 + (6 sqrt 2)^2] = sqrt (72 + 72) = sqrt 144 = 12

The leg of each isosceles right triangle when the hypotenuse is 8 cm is 4 sqrt 2 cm.
x^2 + x^2 = 8^2 where x is the leg of the isosceles right triangle.
2x^2 = 64
x^2 = 64/2 = 32

when the hypotenuse is 5 sqrt 6, the leg of each isosceles right triangle is 5 sqrt 3.
x^2 + x^2 = (5 sqrt 6)^2 where x is the leg.
2x^2 = 150
x^2 = 150/2 = 75
x = 5 sqrt 3
