Weegy: Plato's view on government was that it should be controlled by philosophers and not the aristocracy. As part of his views on education, he felt that all (men or women- rich or poor) should be trained to the best of their abilities. [ The best of these would be trained to become the philosophers. He tried this form of government on an island off Italy and it worked well while he was present. Plato's Republic goes into more details. Source: a Platonist philosopher ]
