x = (3/2)y - 7/2
Replace x in the equation 4x – 6y = 8, then 4(3/2y - 7/2) - 6y = 8
6y - 14 - 6y = 8, the simplified form is 0 = 22 which is not true.
Therefore, the solution for –2x + 3y = 7 4x – 6y = 8 is D. no solution.
