The multiplication property of equality could be used to solve b ÷ (-2) = 18.

b ÷ (-2) = 18

b ÷ (-2) * (-2) = 18 * (-2)

b = -36

b ÷ (-2) = 18

b ÷ (-2) * (-2) = 18 * (-2)

b = -36
