A woman who isn't colorblind but has an allele for color blindness reproduces with a man who has normal vision. The chance that they'll have a colorblind daughter is 0%. The allele for color blindness is located on the X chromosome. So a daughter of this pairing would either have a normal X from the mother and a normal X from the father (therefore not colorblind) or would get the defective X from the mother and the normal X from the father - and still not be colorblind, because the dominant normal X would override the allele on the defective X. (This daughter, like her mother, would be a potential carrier of colorblindness).
