Weegy: C. The object?s acceleration due to gravity is less on the moon. the acceleration due to gravity. [ GPE=m*g*h, and g is less on the moon than on Earth. In most contexts, I prefer to call it the strength of the gravitational field, measured in Newtons/kilogram, instead of the acceleration due to gravity. It is not necessarily an acceleration unless gravity is the only force involved in the motion of interest. Mass is NOT the answer, because mass is only depends on the amount of material. Weight would be the answer (GPE=m*g*h, m*g is weight), but the object doesn't weigh more on the moon, it weighs less on the moon. ]
