(x + 3)(x + 8) = 0;

x + 3 = 0; x = -3;
x + 8 = 0; x = -8

(5x – 3.6) – (4x + 1.2)

= 5x - 3.6 - 4x - 1.2

= 5x - 4x - 3.6 - 1.2

= x - 4.8

= 3x^2 + 3x + 4x + 4;
