Behavioral treatment can be effective for a variety of disorders. Some examples include anxiety disorders such as phobias, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. It can also be used for mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, and substance abuse disorders can also benefit from behavioral treatment. Additionally, behavioral treatment can be used for disorders such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and conduct disorder (CD) in children and adolescents.
