Question and answer
how do you arrange fractions in decreasing and increasing order?
Arranging in decreasing order means arranging the fractions from 'greatest to smallest' in value. Similarly, arranging in increasing order means arranging the fractions from 'smallest to greatest' in value. We look at the numerators if the denominators are the same. If the numerators and denominators are different, we compare the fraction sizes to sort them in ascending or descending order.
