User: How long has Hemlock woolly adelgid been in Tennesse?

Weegy: Hemlock Wooly Adelgid Distribution and Hosts Introduced into the Pacific Northwest in the 1920s, the hemlock woolly adelgid was first reported in eastern Virginia in the early 1950s. [ Since then it has spread as far north as southeastern Maine and as far south as northern Georgia and westward to eastern Tennessee Currently this pest is an imminent threat to all eastern Hemlocks. The host is Carolina Hemlock (Tsuga caroliniana) and Eastern Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis). In recent years the populations of hemlock woolly adelgid have been expanding like wild fire in the southeastern range of hemlocks. Adelgid eggs and crawlers are easily spread by wind and wildlife (especially birds). The mild climates in southern regions are a contributing factor in the increased rate of spread. Description of Damage Eastern and Carolina Hemlocks once infested with Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA) and left untreated will die. Hemlocks infested with HWA will take on a grey cast and begin to loose needles rapidly ( ]

Discuss how humans impact each cycle.
Weegy: Please name the cycles User: Carbon, Phosphorus, and Nitrogen Cycles Weegy: Humans impact the carbon cycle during the combustion of any type of fossil fuel, which may include oil, coal, or natural gas. [ Fossil Fuels were formed very long ago from plant or animal remains that were buried, compressed, and transformed into oil, coal, or natural gas. The carbon is said to be "fixed" in place and is essentially locked out of the natural carbon cycle ( Humans intervene during by burning the fossil fuels. During combustion in the presence of air, carbon dioxide and water molecules are released into the atmosphere. Phosphorus enters the environment from rocks or deposits laid down on the earth many years ago. The phosphate rock is commercially available form is called apatite. Other deposits may be from fossilized bone or bird droppings called guano. Weathering and erosion of rocks gradually releases phosphorus as phosphate ions which are soluble in water. Land plants need phosphate as a fertilizer or nutrient. Humans affect the phosphorus cycle by moving phosphorus around and it becomes runoff. When it is in run-off, it can end up in large stores of water and the phosphorous can cause eutrophication to occur and this can kill animals and plants in the water... ] (More)
