There are only two reciprocal pronouns. They are each other and one another. Each other refers to two nouns wherein one another refers to three or more nouns. But if the number is not specified, you can use either each other or one another. For instance, in the sentence The girls missed each other and The girls missed one another are both correct. If I say The two girls missed.. the correct reciprocal pronoun is each other – there are two girls. If I say The seven candidates for Presidential Election greet one another during the filing of certificate of candidacy.
