The questions to ask when opening checking account is there a monthly fee and can I access the account with a debit card? With the monthly fee, I don't like that because what if there is not enough money in the account and your fees are due? I agree some people do not deserve the credit they have because of things outside of their control. With that said, if there was such a place to explain, wouldn't it be filled with everyone explaining why their bad credit isn't really their fault?
