Question and answer
The questions to ask when opening checking account is there a monthly fee and can I access the account with a debit card? With the monthly fee, I don't like that because what if there is not enough money in the account and your fees are due? That may give the account an overdraft ,and that's more money out my pockets that I probably won't have. Alot of banks offers free checking accounts which means no monthly fees. The debit card is the most important to me because I need fo have access my money at all times. I'm not not into carrying cash in my wallet so with the debit card you can use
this just like cash. The only negative issues that come with a debit card to me would be the fees for using it. The fees will add up and before you know it you'll spend twenty dollars on fees alone for swiping your cards.

I agree some people do not deserve the credit they have because of things outside of their control. With that said, if there was such a place to explain, wouldn't it be filled with everyone explaining why their bad credit isn't really their fault?

Yes, If there were a place to explain bad credit, it could be filled with people justifying their situations, pointing to factors like job loss or medical expenses. While these circumstances are challenging, they might shift the focus from personal responsibility and make it harder to find solutions for improving credit.
