Four score and seven years ago, our forefathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation conceived in liberty ... The word "score" here means TWENTY. Four score and seven is four times twenty plus seven, or 87 years.

The question, is what part of speech is the word score? It is considered a noun, but I believe in this case it is being used as an adjective.
