Media - Communication channels through which news, entertainment, education, data, or promotional messages are disseminated.

Media is the main means of mass communication (esp. television, radio, newspapers, and the Internet) regarded collectively. In the arts, a medium (mediums, media) is a material used by an artist to create a work. Messages that are distributed through the technologies, principally text in books, study guides and computer networks; sound in audio-tapes and broadcast: pictures in videotapes and broadcast; text, sound and/or pictures in a teleconference.
