How should we define professionalism as a characteristic when it comes to writing? When can you tell something isn't written with prfessionalism?
Weegy: Good writing is the result of much practice and hard work. This fact should encourage you: it means that the ability to write well is not a gift that some people are born with, not a privilege extended to only a few. [ If you're willing to work, you can improve your writing.A bad writer is a writer who always says more than he thinks. A good writer- and here we must be careful if we wish to arrive at any real insight- is a writer who does not say more than he thinks.Competent writers always examine what they have put down. Better-than-competent writers—good writers—examine their effects before they put them down: They think that way all the time. Bad writers never examine anything. Good writing has a clearly defined purpose. It makes a clear point. It supports that point with specific information. The information is clearly connected and arranged. The words are appropriate, and the sentences are clear, concise, emphatic, and correct. ] ] (More)

Is thre phone etiquette involved in the business world? What knids of rules and formalities are involved?
Weegy: If the caller is not known to the receiver it is important that the purpose of the call and the caller's credentials are established immediately. [ A simple introduction followed by a sentence or two not only shows good phone etiquette but allows the receiver to set the forthcoming information within a context. Particularise your intention behind the call. Do not assume the receiver understands why you are calling them and what you expect of them. Expand upon information and specify the purpose of the call. Pass on information that the receiver will understand, appreciate and find useful. Waffling and speaking generically will lose attention and generally reflect poorly on the caller. Good business phone etiquette demands professionalism at all times. ] (More)
