goalkeepers. 6. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. 7. Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball through the defender's hoop. 8. The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of 42.195 kilometres (26 miles 385 yards), usually run as a road race, but the distance can be covered on trail routes. 9. A triathlon is an endurance multisport race consisting of swimming, cycling, and running over various distances. 10. Ice skating is the self-propulsion and gliding of a person across an ice surface, using metal-bladed ice skates.
