8x^2 + 8x + 2 = 0

divided by 2 on both sides the result is:

4x^2 + 4x + 1 = 0

(2x + 1)^2 = 0

2x + 1 = 0

x = -1/2

divided by 2 on both sides the result is:

4x^2 + 4x + 1 = 0

(2x + 1)^2 = 0

2x + 1 = 0

x = -1/2
