It is very uncommon for someone to drink too much water, but when they do it can result in a condition called hyponatremia. To calculate how many ounces of water you should be drinking daily you take your weight, add that number by 2/3 (67%), and add 12 ounces of water to your daily total for every 30 minutes you are active/workout.
