how do you conduct research fo information you need
Weegy:
The first step in research is to find out what sources of information are available. The Internet has vastly increased the amount of information accessible to the average person, and libraries also use the power of computer networks for research. [ For each area of concern, there are many sources you can use. 1. Laws and regulations. If you think a law is being broken, it's obviously necessary to know exactly what that law is and what its provisions are. There are several possible places to find state and federal laws. Law libraries. Law libraries are generally located in or near county courthouses and in law schools. While many public libraries may have complete copies of the state law code, law librarians are generally more knowledgeable, and can more easily and quickly help you find what you're looking for. Sympathetic lawyers and politicians. You may be able to find an attorney willing to research a particular law or legal question for you because he's interested in the issue. By the same token, a simple call to a politician's office may obtain the same result. Your elected representative may ask an aide to help you find the appropriate material as a form of constituent service. In either of these cases, you should have a well-defined idea of what you're looking for. You can't expect someone to go through all the state environmental laws, for instance: you have to be able to explain what type of law you think is being violated. The Internet. There are several web sites with listings of or links to state and federal statutes. There are sites with links to all state law codes. One of the best is the Legal Information Institute of Cornell Law School. It contains all state statutes, searchable by topic, as well as federal laws. Another site for federal laws is the US General Services Administration, searchable in a number of different ways. 2. Information about the past and current activities of government and corporations. ]

does this strategy work
Weegy:
yes that would be the simplest way to short a currency (without having to trade margin Forex which is much riskier). but what this article meant is that if you expect CAD to devalue against the US dollar. [ While youre making money by the devaluation of the CAD you borrowed, the USD you are holding could also devalues against other currencies. the way you make money is like this: lets say you borrowed 1000 CAD from the bank. You think that CAD is going to devalue against USD so you changed all the CAD to USD. lets say the exchange rate now between the two currencies is 1USD to 1CAD. meaning you changed the 1000 CAD and you got USD1000. Later, the price of CAD devalues to 0.80 to 1. Meaning USD0.80 to 1 CAD. you see now it is cheaper to purchase CAD. you use USD800 and change it back to 1000 CAD. Pay back the bank what you owe them and you still got an extra USD200. ]

if your stratgey is not successful, what changes might you make
Weegy:
If your strategy for research is not successful, you could contact a librarian at your local /school library. He or she could help you with your research needs.

what kind of ways can you get out potentially plagiarizing on a research paper
Weegy:
What is plagiarism? In minor cases, it can be the quotation of a sentence or two, without quotation marks and without a citation (e.g., footnote) to the true author. [ In the most serious cases, a significant fraction of the entire work was written by someone else: the plagiarist removed the true author(s) names(s) and substituted the plagiarist's name, perhaps did some re-formatting of the text, then submitted the work for credit in a class (e.g., term paper or essay) or as part of the requirements for a degree (e.g., thesis or dissertation). indicia of a quotation When using another person's words, to avoid plagiarism one must always do both of the following: provide a citation, either in the text or in a footnote, and either enclose their words inside quotation marks or put their words in a block of indented, single-spaced text. I define these two things as indicia of a quotation, for ease of reference in this essay. Plagiarism is the act of quoting material without including the indicia of a quotation. Note that the intent of a plagiarist is irrelevant. The act of quoting material without including the indicia of a quotation is sufficient to convict someone of plagiarism. It is no defense for the plagiarist to say "I forgot." or "It is only a rough draft." or "I did not know it was plagiarism." ideas too? Some colleges have expanded the definition of plagiarism to include copying ideas without providing a citation to the original source. I argue below that such deliberate copying is misconduct that should be treated separately from plagiarism. Perhaps the authorities that include ideas in their definition of plagiarism really intended to say that a close paraphrase of another author's work is plagiarism. paraphrasing without a citation is plagiarism Suppose one reads a book by Smith and encounters the short sentence: If the solution turns pink, it is worthless, and should be discarded. I believe it is plagiarism to paraphrase this ...

Attacking the person instead of the point, known as an ad hominem fallacy, undermines rational debate by diverting attention from the argument's merits to irrelevant personal characteristics.

A biased thought process can affect the quality of what we produce as It can result in illogical and irrational decisions, and it can cause you to misjudge risks and threats.
