7x - 2y = 4 multiply 5 on both sides:

35x - 10y = 20 (equation 1)

5y + 3x = 10 rearranging equation:

3x + 5y = 10 multiply 2 on both sides:

6x + 10y = 20 (equation 2)

adding up equation 1 and 2 the result is:

41x = 40

x = 40/41

7(40/41) - 2y = 4

280/41 - 2y = 4

2y = 280/41 - 4 = 280/41 - 164/41 = 116/41

y = (116/41)/2 = 58/41

The solution for the system 7x - 2y = 4 5y + 3x = 10 is (40/41, 58/41)

35x - 10y = 20 (equation 1)

5y + 3x = 10 rearranging equation:

3x + 5y = 10 multiply 2 on both sides:

6x + 10y = 20 (equation 2)

adding up equation 1 and 2 the result is:

41x = 40

x = 40/41
