A line passes through (–9, 1) and (–6, 2). Write an equation for the line in point-slope form
Weegy: The equation, in point-slope form, of the line that has a slope of 6 and passes through the point ( 1, 8) is y + 8 = 6 (x + 1) User: rewrite the equation in standard form using integers. Weegy: 2y - x + 1 = 0 Solution: m = (-2 + 3)/(-3 + 5) ; = 1/2 ; y + 3 = 1/2 (x + 5) ; 2y + 6 = x + 5 ; 2y - x + 1 = 0 this is it correct! User: Solve the system of equations using substitution. y = 3x + 2 and y = 2x + 6 User: I need it in corrdinates (More)

The slope of the line passing through (–9, 1) and (–6, 2) is 1/3.
The point slope form of the line passing through (–9, 1) and (–6, 2) is y - 1 = 1/3(x + 9)

y = 2x + 6
y = 3x + 2
Substitute y in the first equation the result is:
3x + 2 = 2x + 6
3x - 2x = 6 - 2
x = 4
y = 2(4) + 6 = 14
The solution for the system of equations y = 2x + 6 and y = 3x + 2 is (4, 14)

4 = sqrt m - 8
sqrt m = 4 + 8
sqrt m = 12
square both sides the result is:
m = 144
When m = 144,
sqrt 144 - 8 = 12 - 8 = 4,
Therefore, m = 144 is a solution for the equation 4 = the square root of m - 8.

(x^2 + x - 30)/(x^2 + 2x - 35)
= (x + 6)(x - 5)/(x + 7)(x - 5)
= (x + 6)/(x + 7)
