A fish tank contains 1/2 as many goldfish as mollies, and there are 6 more guppies than goldfish. If the total combined number of fish in the tank is 22, how many mollies are in the tank?
let the no. of mollies be x. So, x+x/2+x/2+6=22. So, x= 8. So, there are 8 mollies.
