How do you began homeschooling?
Weegy: Hi, You've got plenty of time to do some research about homeschooling! There are plenty of helpful blogs, websites, and books about it, too. The suggestion to look at HSLDA's website is a good place to start; you can become familiar with [ homeschool laws there (homeschooling is legal in all 50 states.) Considering Homeschooling and the Exploring Homeschooling websites are also good places to start. I've homeschooled for 16 years now, and I can tell you that while it is a committment, it is also the most rewarding thing you will ever do. Homeschooling allows you to provide a quality education for an affordable price; it promotes family bonding and unity, and homeschooled children score 15-30 points higher on standardized tests than public schooled kids do--without studying the test. Check out my blog at for lots of links and info about how to get started. Blessings, Susan L. ] User: Do you have to go through school or any program to be a homeschool teacher? Weegy: It depends on the laws in the area you live. Where I live you do not, but you do have to follow a set curriculum from the board of education. You can check with your local Board of Education to find out the laws where you live. (More)
