User: why wold a guy want to have close friendships with the friends of the girl he hate?

Weegy: He probably just wants to annoy her in some way.

User: but why? she is no threat to him

Weegy: If he hates her, that takes energy, she is his enemy. If he was just indifferent to her, it would be different.

User: but what if she is not in his way or causing any trouble for him? why need to put in that energy, especially if it makes no difference to her?

Weegy: He holds on to negative feelings, it is his personality type.
Expert answered|sharpies|Points 6065|

User: for 6 years he only does this to her as is noticed

Weegy: He must have some sort of hidden feelings for her.
Expert answered|sharpies|Points 6065|

User: what hidden feelings? nothing he is doing makes sense.

Weegy: Hate takes energy.

User: why need to hate her? its strange. if she gets along well with her friends and no problems with her, then it seems odd to hate her and be so close with her friends too.

what is happening?
Weegy: What is happening with what? Do you have a more specific question? User: Why would a guy care if the girl he ignores/indifferent towards/shut out, doesn't compliment him on every speech he gives? In my group, a man , have close friendships with 4 particular females, and always working closely with them, and yet find it hard to be around a certain 1 female that he has known for a while. The other females have a pattern of getting into trouble, right before he starts to befriend them. Today he was arranging a group of us. He had people working in pairs. One of the girls he is always with is there. He arranges everyone in pairs and the one girl he ignores. But for last, he arrange for his close friend to work with him. The close friend and her sister are among his 4 close friends, and the 2 sisters like the girl he ignores and is spiteful towards, always hugging her. When they are around her, he acknowledges them, and not her. The more he gets closer to them, the farther they are from the girl he seems to dislike. However, the females still show her affection. The wife and the females, including the girl, are all friends. Some in the group is wondering about why he is closer to them. Lately, his wife has been talking snappy at her and seems distant. The girl is confused, especially because she thought her and the wife had a good relationship, despite the man's behavior. (More)
