The typical backup plan is to back up work at the end of every day. That way, if the system goes down, the most that will be lost is one day's worth of data. The back should go to a separate location in the event of fire, flood, etc. All facilities, large or small, should also have a disaster recovery plan in place. What is a disaster recovery plan?
Disaster recovery (DR) is the process, policies and procedures related to preparing for recovery or continuation of technology infrastructure critical to an organization after a natural or human-induced disaster. [ ]
