x- 1/2y = 4;

x - 0 = 4;

x = 4

0 - 1/2y = 4;

-1/2y = 4;

y = 4/(-1/2);

y = (4 * 2)/(-1);

y = 8/(-1);

y = -8

The x and y-intercepts are (4, -8)

x/3 - y/4 = -1;

x/3 - 0 = -1;

x/3 = -1;

x = -1 * 3;

x = -3

The x-intercept for the equation x/3 - y/4 = -1 is (-3, 0)

x/3 - 0 = -1;

x/3 = -1;

x = -1 * 3;

x = -3

The x-intercept for the equation x/3 - y/4 = -1 is (-3, 0)
