Weegy: I've never actually had to use overdraft protection, and I'm not sure what the fees are (and if they're monthly or what), but I know it can cost people a lot of money in fees, both from the bank and the merchants, if they bounce checks, [ and some people tend to do that a lot. So for them, I would think overdraft protection is a good idea and not a "rip-off." ]
