x^2- 5x+6,
= (x + __)(x + __)
to fill out the blanks, find two numbers that adds up to be -5, and has a product of 6, so in this case the two numbers are -2 and -3
-2 x -3 = 6
-2 + -3 = -5
so.
(x + (-3))(x + (-2))
