So, I believe Ronaldinho is the best player in the world, but the second best player should probably be Wayne Rooney. He causes so much havoc for the other team, injects so much energy into the team spirit and can either take over a game or free up his team to cause damage (Ruud Van Nistelrooy, e.g.). But, Man U have not been performing, so the team would have to be Chelsea - therefore, must be Frank Lampard because he can do so many things. Steven Gerrard plays a similar role, and he is clutch, but I think they both come behind Andriy Shevchenko who scores goals (leads Serie A every year), wins leagues, wins the European Champions League (or gets his team to the final), and makes his teammates better.
