Given the system of equations, what is the solution? 2x + y = -1 x - y = -5
Question
Updated 5/19/2014 11:18:39 PM
1 Answer/Comment
2x + y = -1
x - y = -5
adding up equations the result is:
3x = -6
x = -2,
2(-2) + y = -1
y = -1 + 4 = 3
The solution for the system 2x + y = -1 x - y = -5 is (-2, 3)
